It's been five long years since Revolver favorites Harm's Way dropped their last album, 2018's pulverizing Posthuman, but the wait is about to come to an end. Today (July 18th), the Chicago industrial-hardcore powerhouse announced their follow-up full-length, Common Suffering, and unleashed its lead single, "Silent Wolf," a concussive rager that's anything but quiet. Blast it above via YouTube.
"'Silent Wolf' was birthed out of observing a sense of persistent distrust in governing bodies and systems of power in our current cultural climate," vocalist James Pligge commented. "It speaks on the faith, or lack of faith, many have in these systems and an overall feeling of inertia and paranoia with status quo operations... leading many to the question: 'What is really informing our reality?" Due out September 29 through Metal Blade, Common Suffering was produced by Will Yip (Turnstile, Code Orange) and features a guest appearance by Kristina Esfandiari, a.k.a. King Woman, on the song "Undertow." The album is available for pre-order now.
