ABS Partners Real Estate has announced the opening of Tandy Leather’s flagship location at the Box Factory, situated at 1519 Decatur Street in Ridgewood, Queens.
Managed and leased by ABS Partners, the site, previously known for crafting perfume and jewelry boxes in 1929, has been reimagined as a commercial building since its conversion in 2017. The revamped space, spanning 63,000 square feet across two floors, features restored industrial elements, high ceilings, oversized windows, and amenities including updated mechanicals, bathrooms, and a shared outdoor seating area.
Tandy Leather’s 4,377-square-foot flagship store on the 2nd floor boasts an expanded Maker Workshop equipped with professional-grade tools, offering collaborative spaces and skill-building classes. ABS plans to offer subdivided spaces for new tenants, ranging from 1,150 to 1,850 square feet, by year-end.
